Respect and Admiration Nobody really cares about your house, car, clothes, etc. That is not where your true value lies. While I also disagree with where the author's target value lies - in your name, what you have achieved, his point is similar. Our value and worth lies in our identity. My identity is defined by my Heavenly Father who created me, not from what I have accomplished. Matthew 6:19-21 are helpful verses.

Brain Food Completely Obsessed Man, I have thought this for a long time. Let’s build better incentives to get them to do their jobs better? Want an incentive to do what we hired you to do? You are not fired yet. I’m all for bonuses and stuff, but you signed up for negotiated and fair salary. On the flip side, focus on creating value daily.

David Bentley Hart on Reason, Faith, and Diversity in Religious Thought Interesting podcast. Still processing. DBH is obviously intelligent. Agree on some of his points. Unsure on some. And, disagree with others. Touches on topics aligned with The Soul, meteaphysics, religion in general, Christianity, the Bible, and more.

Friday Forward - Passing Bucks Good article of the bureaucracy of processes resulting in “not my problem” and general lack of problem-solving initiative in many. A simple solution overlooked and buck-passed resulting in terrible optics and inconvenience for an airline customer. Is it possible to have solid processes and “permission” for employees to take initiative and solve customer problems?
Why You Need a Relationship Dashboard Need to follow-up on this article. It is a subscriber only post. I have something similar to this, I think, but want to check it out more.
